The Best of Both Worlds: Welcome to South Loop

Living in the city is all about the experience.

Experiencing food, culture, sports, entertainment – and even the simpler things in life; walks with the family, drinks with friends, and so forth.
South Loop: the best of both world.
The beauty of life in Chicago is versatility.
Are you a young twenty or thirty-something, venturing out on your own for the first time, looking to meet new people, and try different things? Or perhaps you’re a family, or beginning your life in retirement?

The South Loop has less congestion and hustle and bustle, but even greater charm. It is the city’s most up and coming neighborhood with everything you need at your fingertips; you will not have to go far to find what you need when residing in South Loop! What I love most about the South Loop is the accessibility to everything, yet it remains its own bubble. You are able to journey to the bigger areas of the city for a busier day of shopping on Michigan Avenue, all while having access to the most delectable and sought after restaurants, suitable for all.

Speaking of Restaurants in the South Loop.
My personal favorite being: The Scout Waterhouse + Kitchen, perfect for any time of the day, and has one of those menus in which anyone can find their favorite food item! Now, those are the best type of restaurants, if you ask me! Friends, you’ll want to get the signature foot-long grilled cheese here. Trust me on this. ☺ Looking for cozy Italian fare? Armand’s Victory Tap is a favorite for Sunday dinner. Nothing will start your week off better than Armand’s rigatoni and sausage gravy dish. Dee-lish!

Interested in expanding your knowledge of the South Loop?
Chicago is home to the finest museums, set on Museum Campus. As an adult, I look back on the many times we took school trips to the museums, and at the time I didn’t realize how very lucky we are, to have this entire world of information, these breathtaking buildings, full of education – all here, all for us, right here in Chicago. I find that I discover something new each time I step foot in one of the museums. It’s a great place to explore on your own, or with friends visiting from out of town, and of course, with family. So, whether you wish to pop into the Adler Planetarium, the Field Museum, or the Shedd Aquarium, the walk along Museum Campus is pretty enough for a stroll on a crisp fall day!

City Living At Its Finest in the South Loop
Music fans, you won’t need to travel far for a free concert; Soldier Field is close enough that you’ll be able to listen to concerts on the rooftop while sipping your favorite wine. And of course, sports fans, you can hear all the cheers and happiness ringing from Soldier Field when the Bears score a victory!
City lovers, no matter what phase you are at in life, South Loop will continue to grow with you and your lifestyle. And I promise you, this neighborhood will win you over just as it has me; where else can you gaze at sea turtles in a 360-degree tank, and then hop on over to the best pizza and pierogi restaurant (Flo & Santos)?  Only here, in South Loop.

Xx, Christine
